James Brown, The Godfather of Soul, Pardoned
"In September 1998 [I think they meant to say 1988], Brown, high on PCP and carrying a shotgun, entered an insurance seminar next to his office in Augusta, Georgia, and asked seminar participants if they were using his private restroom, according to authorities. Police chased Brown for a half-hour from Augusta into South Carolina and back to Georgia. The chase ended when police shot out the tires of his truck," CNN reports here. And that wasn't the last time he was arrested. But now South Carolina has seen fit to pardon him.

Brother and companion of the honor of the black on ground, good year 2007, in the pain well on. Not James, that we admire so much here in Africa, a character which defended the rights of the blacks and knew put at the shelter, the suffering that those underwent which have the skin with this color.
How much will we miss it on this ground? James Brown, the head that we had deserved so much, we all want to pay a last homage to him, all our association of Soul in Cameroun committed east has to come to the United States from America, to pay a last homage to this great man. That the paternal hand of God is tended to him. Please agree to communicate the program of funerals to us and invite us to take part in this large goodbye that we must to this great man.
