Partners' Accidental E-Mail Reveals Bad News for Associates
D'oh! A partner at the London "Magic Circle" firm of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer wrote an email - intended only for a few other partners - saying that the actual chance that an associate will someday make partner was actually much smaller than most associates believed. Things got grim when the email was inadvertently sent to all associates, Britain's The Lawyer.com reports here.
