California Recall Election Postponed
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal has just ruled that California's recall election, scheduled for October 7, cannot go forward because there is not enough time to replace outdated and inaccurate punchcard voting systems in several counties. Look for an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court. The Ninth Circuit's opinion is here, and the AP reports it here.
