Blake's Defense Blames Christian Brando

Robert Blake's defense blamed Marlon Brando's son, Christian, in a court hearing Tuesday for the slaying of Blake's wife and said that the younger Brando is currently a fugitive from justice.

Blake's attorney, Thomas Mesereau Jr., said Brando fled and had a warrant out for his arrest. Outside the courtroom, Mesereau said Brando was wanted for a probation violation in Washington state.

"We think there's a compelling case - far stronger - that (Brando) did it, than that Mr. Blake did it," Mesereau said.

Details here from the AP via Findlaw.com.

UPDATE (3/16/05): Blake acquited of 1st degree muder and one charge of soliciting murder. (Jury deadlocked on second soliciation charge, which the judge then dismissed.) Details here.

CHRISTIAN IS NOT INTERESTED IN GOING BACK TO PRISON.I DOUBT BONNIE LEE BAKLEY MADE HIM THAT DIZZY. MY GOODNESS HE HAS MORE TO LIVE FOR IN THE FREE WORLD THAN WOULD EVER BE WORTH GIVING UP FOR THAN KILLING SOME WOMEN THAT ABUSED HIS WILLINGNESS TO BE THERE FOR A CHILD THAT HE DIDN'T HAVE CONFIRMATION FOR BEING HIS. CHRISTIAN IS TOO FINE OF A MAN TO GO DOWN LIKE THAT.

You said it and you know it!!!! I have always believed this man has gotten the short end of the stick. I mean, all he tried to do was help his sister and look what he got. Why can't people leave this poor guy alone? He isn't telling us how to live, act, etc. and we are not paying his rent. So leave him be. Good luck Chris, and remember, you have a friend here.

I feel bad for Bonnie Lee Bakley life having to end so tragically but c'mon, Robert Blake just so happened to be a few feet away when she is murdered and now they want to point the finger on Mrs. Bakley other known acquaintance whom just so happens to be Christain Brando. Um, I say they already have their murderer in jail right now that just so happens to be Robert Blake.

I like to say to Christian Brando, I'm so sorry you lost your father recently and God Bless you and your family.

AS USUAL THEY TRY TO POINT THE FINGER AT AN INNOCENT MAN, CHRISTIAN BRANDO IS NOT GUILTY OF ANYTHING. HOW CONVENIENT TO PIN THE RAP ON HIM BECAUSE HE WAS ONLY GUILTY OF BAD TASTE IN WOMEN, THAT BEING BONNY LEE BAKELY. LEAVE CHRISTIAN BRANDO ALONE AND LET HIM GRIEVE HIS FATHER'S DEATH IN PEACE STOP THE SMEARING PROPAGANDA MACHINE AGAINST CHRISTIAN BRANDO NOW.

I know christian, what people dont realize is what happened to his sisters boyfriend was an accident, he did not intend to kill him, he just wanted scare him so he would stop abuseing her. He's had to live with what happened everyday since. Christian is one of the most caring, giving, unselfish person i know. All he could talk about when his dad passed was he wanted to make sure his autistic half brother had a trust fund set up. he said he did'nt want anything. It just really sucks how he's being treated by his ADOPTED BROTHERS & SISTERS everyone execpt Christian are a bunch of greedy, ungratefull people who only care about what they are going to get now that Marlon's gone. where were they before he died? Christian loved his father very much! when ever they had a problem, it was usually caused by someone trying to benifit from the situation. I just wish people would stop classifing him as some heartless murderer. He's my friend, and i would do anything for him, and i know he would do the same for me. LOVE YA MAN.

Hey Rob....I'd love to meet you ANY friend of Christian Brando is a FRIEND of mine! I LOVE CHRISTIAN to the max!

I know Christian well. I live here in Washington State. I have been around Christian alot. I wish people would just leave him alone and let his live his life in peace. He would never hurt anybody, and he is one of the nicest guys to be around. The media especially needs to back off him and let him live his life, and quit bothering him. I'm so sick of it!!!I think your a great guy Christian.

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR ROB AND JENNIFER

Thank God for friends like you!

I've written to Christian a couple of times this year. I've always felt for him but was compelled to write to him after the death of his father.

Its so sad how people won't leave him alone.

I've sent my letters to his fathers Van Nuys address as I didn't know where else to send it.

Could one of you help me with an address? Or may I forward it threw one of you? I understand he wants his privacy.

I recently heard he married. I hope he's found the much love, happiness, security that he needs and deserves.

It must be devasting for him to not only lose his father this year but being thrown into the mix of the Robert Blake case, its such a shame.

Glad I stumbled across this post...would love to hear from either of you two!! Again your great friends, look after him!

Please tell Chris that Joanie in Canada says hello and sends him a huge kiss!! Hope he eventually gets my letter.

Please email me at

All the Best and Happy Holidays

Joanie
Collingwood, Ontario, Canada

I met Christian and his father many years ago. He seemed like a neat person. I hope that he finds whatever it is he is looking for in his new marriage. I am sure the loss of his father was not easy for him and our hearts go out to him and the entire family.

We wish him love, peace, and joy in this holiday season and throughout the rest of his life.

Just looking around here. I feel happy to say my aunt married Christain Brando.

Where do I send his bills he owes me money!!!
How 'bout givin' me a break, let's remember you two dupped me to move in with a year lease, what a joke!!

Give me a break. Cristian Brando is clearly guilty as HELL of ordering the killing of Bonnie Bakley. That's the FACT! Robert Blake has been railroaded. Brando and his meth-head buddies are MURDERERS!!!!!

I was distressed to read of Christian's arrest for wife beating. It seems that this poor guy just can't stay out of trouble to save his life. Seems to me he should follow the drop, leave, and forget rule- drop the problem, leave the people behind it, and forget it happened. Try it, Chris and maybe you will find yourself in less trouble. Anyway, good luck.

Christian Brando is a demented, drug crazed murderer who has killed before, murdered his sister's lover, Bonnie and god knows who else, just because he's Brando's son. DISGUSTING.

I think this man is influenced by losers and he always winds up in trouble. The best thing, it seems, is, if someone would stand up and do right by him and get him some serious help. He needs it badly or he will wind up in worse trouble than he is now or even worse than that.

I've never met Christian, most likely never will, but I do wish the man, who imo seems to be a kind of lost soul, a reasonbly pleasant, drama free journey through his life. Peaceout CB.

Yes, this fella needs luck and prayers. May he get both and help soon. You'll make it, guy. Just keep your chin up.

Hey look the guy's got problem, chaos in his life he messed up dearly.

Yep he's a lost soul that's true. Hey Destiny read your postings......just wondering how your aunt Deborah Presley-Brando is doing? A Nat'l Enquirer article said Chris was missing.

Did she find him? Let me know hope everything is ok

PEACE OUT CHRIS!

hey where did my comments go? Ha John he owes you money? I'll send you a check lol ONLY KIDDING don't love Chris enough to pay his bills for him!

And did his wife ever find him? Hope he's ok and clean that's all.

Peace out Mr. Brando!

For everyone that is interested, I met Christain in rehab yesterday and he is looking very good. He seemed to be in very good spirits.

I heard where he was seeking to have the marriage annulled. I pray this time Christian makes it. Maybe the annulment will be the best thing for him. Good luck.

I would like to meet christian brando I have always felt he got the short end of the stick he was just protecting his sister is there a way to emeal him jodi

i would love to be able to email Christian Brando, and tell him how much i sympathize with him for all of the stuff he's been through. would someone please send me his email address? or have him email me. thanks. Rhonda

I lived next door to Christian for years after he got out of prison. He was a tormented, wacked out, paranoid man who put 200 holes in the walls of his house because he was on meth. He is very talented but could not put it to work. He is stuck in the past. If you read this, Christian, GET OVER IT, like regular people and just go on with life...life is right NOW. Read that bible that was given to you......there lies the answer.

If any of you can get hold of a book written by Chris' mother, Anna Kashfi, you should read it. It is called "Breakfast With Brando". If Chris is "still" suffering as he was when I was hanging out with him just before Dag's murder, then you can read this book to find out WHY! Both his parents were certifiable wack jobs as parents and mentors! He didn't have a chance. Chris, if you read this, I still love you, Baby. Stay sweet!

To Taylor Road: The only thing with any sense you have said about Christian would be about the bible. I think it very cruel what you have said about him other than that. He has been my friend since 1969/1970 and he is trying to go on with his life circle.

All my relations,
Ho Hey

Spirit Dancer

I read that book by Anna Kashfi long ago. Seems Chris had it tough from the beginning. People like these neighbors of his don't help matters much. Chris just needs to get his priorities in order and get on with his life without people judging him. Seems to me the Robert Blake case is all but over with, so there is no reason for him even to be dragged into any of these messes anymore. Good luck fella!

Desi, When life is hard remember you have someone watching over you. I wish you all the best in life and hope you find happiness. Stay focus on your dreams and sucess will find you. Take care and God bless.

love you
BoBo

MUNGIE MAN!! Where are you? We havent heard from you for a couple of months now, getting worried. I hope you are able to scroll down past some of the dark, ugly stuff people wrote here. To see my message. Focus on the positive, nurturing and loving comments posted here!! God bless all of you who are praying for him. As for the rest of you souless people, find something better to do with your time than surf websites to post negative opinions that have no basis. GET A LIFE!!! You dont have to say bad things about other people to make yourselves feel better.Love you MUNGIE!! Love the MUNGIE family

Yeah it's me again, heard Chris has been charged with contempt of court in the Blake civil trial.

My opinions are simple, Chris had a messed up life no one has lived in his shoes to me he looked very tired in the pics published of him.

Peace and I love all the wonderful POSITIVE things said about him here. Hope you are well!

Deborah J.:)

A few days ago I ran into an old friend who knew Deborah and mentioned what Christian did to her last year. I was shocked to hear it; having missed the story, I followed up on my friend's suggestion to google it, thus finding this site.

Deborah and I used to be close friends over 20 years ago. We met in the Southeast, then we both moved to LA to start a band. We lost touch after awhile; in the past few years I tried to look her up a few times without success. If any of you know how to contact her, please pass on my e mail address to her and let her know I hope she's doing better.

Thanks,

Colleen

BTW - the last time I was in touch with Deborah (1981), she had just gotten trained as a Paralegal, how's that for irony.

Colleen

Christian has fallen prey to a new lawyer who is fame hungry. His former attorney had kept Christian completely out of the Blake criminal trial, giving him time to recover from his father's death. In the civil trial, his new attorney kept Christian on the stand, repeating that he pled the Fifth. Christian should only have had to say it once. That lawyer was just running up the hourly clock. The new lawyer's claim to fame is a failed attempt to run for Gov. of California, and that he is head of some big marijuana club, and now, that he represents Christian. The attorney, Bruce Margolin, puts marijuana leaves on his law firm's website. He also doesn't think to tell Christian not to speak to the press when exiting the court. So Christian implicates Blake to ABC News! But Bonny led Christian to believe the infant girl was HIS baby, she had even sent Christian a photo. Christian was not happy to find out the kid was Blake's, which was shortly before her murder, and Christian did talk several times about wanting her dead.

Meanwhile, Christian kicked his now ex-wife in the ribs. She went to the hospital, having trouble breathing. The hospital reported it to the police. He did a brief stint in rehab but is now back to drinking and beating his new girlfriend Donna Geon, who lives off Christian and Marlon's money.

As for the guy Christian owes money to, he doesn't pay many people that he owes, even when he can afford to, like now. Christian's 5th stint in rehab was unsuccessful, he's back to drinking and meth, and making death threats against women AGAIN (same as he did with Bonnie).

If anyone thinks they can convince the guy to leave the meth alone before he beats Donna for yet the umpteenth time, and winds up in jail again, Christian can be reached at 323-512-7714. The death threats he is now making against women need to be brought to light.

Also, Marlon's sister died last week. So this could have something to do with his recent death threats against innocent women, like Donna, old friends, others who have helped him. Donna has been called, by those who know Christian, cheap puss-. But even cheap puss- has a right to live and not be beaten.

That is terrible!

Talk has it Christian Brando wants to get his hands on a gun...not a good idea for someone who has already killed someone with one. Convicted felons are not allowed to possess a gun.

It would be foolish for him.

I think this man needs help and FAST!!!! I hope he gets it soon before he gets his butt into another sling, cuz it might be a sling he can't get out of this time.

And another thing. Christian should have never been called as a witness, he only wound up embarrassing himself and not doing the case a mite of good. Just got another lawyer another car, that is all.

Christian Brando allows himself to be taken advantage of by unscrupulous women. Women who provide access to illegal narcotics. He has no one to blame but himself and his choice of bad company. How can anyone make sensible choices when they are drugged up by a prostitute. A low life woman who steals art collections and works for a smuggler. A woman who has stole from other men and their inheritances. A woman who even stole Christian's tools and cleaned out his father's possessions when the house in B. Hills was sold who will not even give Christian back a little Japanese box his dad left him. What a greedy unsavoury thief with no morals who does not like him talking to other women, even his ex wife Mary.

Christian has water on the brain (Hydrocephalus)
developed from a head injury from a severe physical assault he sustained as a victim. Brain edema can develop if a hard lifestyle exists.

Is he being shunted for that? It may help his situation. At least he should be doctoring with a neurologist.

Is he being shunted for that? It may help his situation. At least he should be doctoring with a neurologist. That is a treatment for water on the brain, if that is what he has.

Christian is probably to drugged up by his current girlfriend's encouragement and provision for him of crystal methamphetamine to be aware of his health. How sickening...can someone be to do that to him. Well, what do you expect from a pandering sex solicitor, a thief, and all around low-life gold digger.

WHAT CHANCE DOES A GUY LIKE HIM HAVE? DRUGGED UP BY INDUCEMENT FROM LOW CLASSED WOMEN, NOW HE IS WITH A PROSTITUTE/THIEF WHO HAS A REPUTATION FOR FLEECING MEN WITH INHERITANCES. THIS CURRENT GIRL WOULD PUT BONNIE TO SHAME AND THE ONE WHO WANTED ELVIS'S MONEY. WITH A LIFE THAT GUY SEEMS TO LEAD ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN TO HIM, SHE COULD HAVE HIM "BUMPED OFF" HAVING HIM OVERDOSED, FOR HIS MONEY AND COLLECT IT IN A WILL. OR THE TRAMP COULD GO AFTER HIM FOR 1/2 BECAUSE SHE MANAGED TO PLAY HOUSE WITH HIM, AFTER HE HAD HIS SECOND MARRIAGE ANNULLED. ANYTHING WOULD NOT BE A SUPRISE WITH THE TRASHY TYPES OF PEOPLE HE HAS TAKEN UP WITH IN MORE RECENT YEARS. WHAT A SUCKER I WOULD HAVE TO SAY, WHERE IS THIS GUY'S BRAINS?

I could say where his brains are, but my granddad said that isn't ladylike. I say he moves to Pakistan, lay off women, and fuggedabout it. Hey, Chris, if you want to come here, the treats for the cats are over the washer. You might have to feed the big tom to get in but at least you would be allright. Get your brains out of you know where and you will be ok. I hope that ridiculous suit is thrown out of court.

I wonder if Deborah and Donna have tested out abilities to fly with the black wings they have grown...boy, with those baboon lips, they both have they better be careful not to step on them and fall!

Christian's ex-wife Deborah wanted him off Crystal-Meth and encouraged him to get rehab. Donna Geon is an enabler who lets Christian have his Meth, he can take it right in front of her. Christian thinks being high is cool.
Meth leads to violence and destruction.

Christian's ex wife Debra had drugs processed to give Christian... and Debra had drugs slipped into anyone that stood between her and Christian's drink! That is malarky she finally wanted him off drugs...when she announced to him they were ready for him to take.. she is a similiar kook like Donna...! meal ticket, gold-diggin,opportunist lowlife types!

So he has no ability to say no? Sorry, unless he's being chained down to be fed the meth, the reason he's messed up is looking right back in the mirror. Get real, get some balls, and get off the drugs.

And get the hell away from the pushers!!!!!

Yeah, that is true, but if you are a caring wife or girlfriend, you won't allow the drugs in your house. If he goes somewhere else to get them, then at least the wife or girlfriend tried. But it sounds like these leeches are feeding into a major problem.

I would say, when someone is continually fed illegal hard narcotics...as in Brando's case, that is similar to being "chained down..." Rational decisions, are unable to be made, the addict only wants the next fix from the pusher...there is no ability to say no, or even think straight...that is a researched academic statistic. He could not have said, "no," when plied with narcotics by leeches exploiting him!

Those who know Christian knows he chooses to use. He never has wanted to change. He wants to live his life according to his own rules, which are no rules at all.

I do not necessarily agree. He has wanted to change at times, yet has not made strong enough lifestyle moves towards such successfully. When he was in prison he lived by rules not of his own. Otherwise he would have served his full sentence without parole. To add, he has not yet gone back to prison, so he is capable of living by some rules of society...He is an extremely sick man from sexual alcohol and substance abuse addiction issues.

Someone who really cares about him needs to take the bull by the horns and get him some help for all his issues. It seems all the rehabs he went to were good for one thing, taking his money. I don't think he is a bad man, just a sick misguided man who needs the right kind of help.

Were all his rehabs because he got into it with the law? I BET THEY WERE.
If Christian only went to rehab because he had to, not because he saw that his coke and meth use caused a problem, then he had no want to change. Has he ever said to himself that when he had no $ he stiffed landlords on leases, hospitals for bills, borrowed money from friends he never repaid, screwed his best friend's wife, cheated on two wives, stole from his father's friend, etc.? Did he think about the pain he causes people. Has he tried to make amends and repay people he owes or apologize for sabotaging everyone who ever tried to help?

Like I said, a sick misguided man. Only such a person would screw his best friend's wife, cheat people out of money (because he is spending it on drugs). A sick man can't apologize because he is too sick to know he is wrong. Kind of like a dog tearing in the trash, we know it is wrong but the dog doesn't and unless you keep correcting the dog, it will keep doing it. Christian's 'friends' sound like they fed into the drama because of what they could get (drugs, money, fame). Sounds like too many people let the dog keep doing it, if you know what I mean.

Crystal Methamphetamine use is so risky not only for the threat of strokes, coronary failure, anorisms, and drug overdose, but for HIV. The risks of acquiring HIV and Hepatitis C are vast in the groups of those using this dangerous drug. A drug more dangerous than others. Someone hopefully can get through to this fellow's head, before it is to late....and he ends up a statistic with one of these terminal diseases. No doubt the company he has kept, and the lifestyle he has led for years is a certain downfall for him to end up being one of these unfortunates.

The scary thing is that crystal meth can be made with average things found in the supermarket. I heard that on Court TV. The man is going on a downhill slide and besides the risk of diseases (which is very real for a guy like that), he will most likely be in the poorhouse. Then what? Social Security and Welfare takes over. I hope CB wises up soon- seems like he could be worthwhile.

MK: your address for email has changed. Tried to send you message...email me back you know where.
DS

I read that Christian was ordered to pay a $1000 fine for the way he acted the day he testified at the Blake civil trial.

Christian Brando is a drugged up fool whom continually gets suckered into paying for low life types of people and their sustainence. The lastest a woman whom days before she ended up with Christian in Jan 2005 had been pandering herself and recruiting others in the LA area to do the same.... a known thief, and wannabe whom suddenly became so interested when she eavesdropped on a telephone conversation Christian had with a friend he has known since childhood. A friend whose family was acquainted with another major Hollywood actor whom promotes civil and environmental rights, like Christian's dad had. The latest squeeze Christian has, this woman he picked up in Jan 2005, was so star struck over this conversation. She is clearly only with him to obtain money from him, he supports her and to social climb. She is only interested in meeting people whom are famous. Sound familiar as in Bonnie. It seems to be a repeat behavioural trait aka Bonnie, his ex-wives etc. I doubt this guy would be able to hold onto a nice decent girl. He only seems to be interested in abusing himslef with these types whom are after prestige in Hollywood, his father's name and the amount of money etc. he inheritated. Based on his pervious lack of judgement he will continually find himself in this jam always unless he wakes up. Too bad, that is what over boozing and dope using does. He really needs to allow some genuine people to have access to help him. But his current manipulating woman friend, "Donna" with an alias name keeps everyone with genuine and kind intentions at bay from him, totally brainwashing him and allowing him access to c. meth. An environment of continual partying. He really needs a step up, not one down and has hardly a true friend in the world down there.

Of the last court appearance of Christian Brando, the press reported Christian Brando's friend whom only identified herself as "Donna" the reason being she would not tell the media her last name due to having two of them. An alias of Donna Lopez and the authentic legal name of Donna Geon. She did not want the media checking into her background because she previously was employed just prior to taking up with Christian Brando in Jan 2005 as a recruiter of solicitation workers, a panderer for the purposes of activities involving actions of grave moral turpitude. Also her having been employed for a major Los Angeles convicted felon, Barry Gordon Brown whom was fingered with theft inside the maternal home of Michael Jackson. Also, Brown had Donna Geon smuggling with him and stealing for him as one of his employees. Not bad, another hooker and thief for Brando. His falling deeper and deeper into the cesspool of amoral behaviour...sounds like he has little taste in finding decent peers and prefers to be abused by people whom use him for their own agendas in Hollywood. Sad sad situation.

Christian's does not work. He shacked up with Donna Glenn who also does not work. Christian sits around and injests meth and offers his buddies cocaine. Donna was a broke girl who latched on to Christian and put up with Christian throwing knives and choking her because Christian pays her apartment rent with from the money trust executor Mike Medavoy gave him (Marlon Brando's money). Still, Donna can't be blamed for Christian's alcoholism and meth use, or Christian's unwillingness to look for a job. Marlon cut Christian off financially years ago and refused to give Christian cash because Marlon knew better than anyone what Christian would do with it: consume more drugs and then injure or even kill more people. Christian, drugs, and cash do not mix and never have.

Donna can be blamed because she handed back Brando the meth someone else tooke away. She is miling him for money if that is hard to understand, than perhaps the sun rises in the west....pleeze!

People latching on to celebrities because they think the celebrity has money is as common as taking a drink of water, especially in Los Angeles.

That seems to be so true, and this Donna Glenn or Donna Geon or Donna Lopez whatever her real name is happens to be one of those people! She was a hooker just days before taking up with Christian Brando in Jan 2005. She does not want anyone from Christian's past or anyone close to him with sense to contact him, phone him or anything. She does not allow him to talk to other women, like Laurene Landon, or his ex wife Mary or anyone for fear she will lose her meal ticket....Someone should step up to the plate and have Christian removed from these sorts of people his father did not want him to have around...Christian seems to be half retarded from drug use...to bad he really needs intervention before he loses much more!

The only way he will change is if he decides that he wants help. That is not going to happen until he hits rock bottom. Apparently, he is not there yet.

Sounds like he is fairly close, possibly he could overdose fatally, or have a stroke from the water on his brain and effects of hard core drug abuse for decades or heart attack from using...and it will be lights out! Would be practical advice for him to quit while he is ahead...

Hey haven't payin attention to this for a while and OMG all the stuff I have missed.

I have pulled myself out of the proverbial gutter of addictions and wnt back to college.

Drugs and booze are no way to live a life. It took a horrible accident for me to see that. All I gotta say is hope the dude gets help.

You only get a turn on the carousel of life once. So be it.

Life Rules,

Debs :)

I don't know much of anything about CB, but it's interesting to note that about half the posts here say say that he has the potential to be a decent fellow (caring, possesses some talent, can straighten out if need be) and the other half point out that he constantly chooses and/or succumbs to drugs, parasitic people, and a self destructive lifestyle. Damn shame, frankly. And perplexing, as with the money he has had at his disposal during his lifetime, he could have gotten some decent help (psychiatric, drug counseling, financial advice) and lived a way more cooler and grander life. But yes, I realize, it's hard to ask for help. And nobody asks for help if they don't think they need it. ("Hey, I'd get up if I knew I fell.) Still, you know, it's never too late . . . .

You are very right. He has the Brando name. He could have had the world on a silver platter.
Most likely, Christian would never have had to work to get movie roles. He would have been given them just on his last name alone. However, he has choosen a different path

Interesting thought. I wasn't thinking about his being in show biz. I don't know if it interests him at this point. (I do know he acted in some movies years ago under a different name.) He could have chosen to make his living fishing or welding or cooking in the circus; that's irrelevant. I just meant he has the resources if he needed help straightening out and that it's never too late to change the way one is living their life (and confound everyone in the process).

You know, a lot of people on the board are thinking (perhaps rightly so) that CB will burn himself out (unless he dies first) and wind up homeless or in jail or brain damaged or in some other such state, with neither friends nor resources. Rats. What a pitiful, predictable script. And such a mundane way to ruin a life. Too bad he can't seem to stay clean long enough to think straight. If he could ponder his life, and had an ounce of rebel in him, he might just disgusted at how pathetic is this downhill slide. He might just split in the middle of the night, get some help, do some thinking, lay some plans, become his own man. Live an honest life and prove he was good for something besides taking drugs and spending money. Prove all the naysayers wrong.

Just an optimistic thought. My two cents, inflation-adjusted.

Unfortunately, Christian's name has been forever linked to the murder of Bonny Bakley. I truly hope that he had nothing to do with this crime, however; his name will always come up everytime the case in mentioned in the media.

Ironic, isn't it? As you pointed out in an earlier post Schenectady, his name could have opened doors for him. Now, his name may close doors. Frankly, a lot of people are investigated for crimes, or actually commit crimes and serve time (both in Brando's case), but because their names aren't well known, they can move past that situation and get on with their lives. Gives you pause when you hear the old saying, "What's in a name?" Alright, it might not be so easy for Mr. Brando to just disappear and start over, yet he could still clean up his act if he so desired. (Desire . . . therein lies the key.) Although I most certainly do not wear rosy-colored glasses, I always hold out hope that any and all of us can turn over a new leaf.

And on that note, I have thrown out my cigs, which I should have done about twenty-five years ago. Sheesh . . .

Gotta give up those cigs. They are no good for you.

Brando will contested over alleged forgery
LOS ANGELES, July 4 (UPI) -- A Los Angeles lawsuit filed by Marlon Brando's former aide claims the late actor's will was rewritten and his signature on it forged days before his death.

The Los Angeles Superior Court suit was filed Friday by Angela Borlaza against Hollywood producer Mike Medavoy and Larry J. Dressler, Medavoy's brother-in-law, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The suit says an amendment to Brando's trust, dated June 18, 2004, removed Brando's longtime personal assistant Alice Marshak and business manager Jo An Corrales as executors and replaced them with Medavoy and two others.

Brando, 80, had dementia and did not have the motor skills to sign the documents, the suit said. Borlaza further charges she was barred from the room during the alleged signing by Brando and the notary who signed the document as a witness was also missing from the room.

She said the actor had trained her to identify his true signature from forgeries and she knows the signature on the will was a forgery.

Brando died July 1, 2004. His estate is said to be valued at more than $20 million.

Christian has reason to be mad. His father's will was forged.
Angela has told the truth. The signature is not his. The whole thing is a scam and I'm surprised it took this long for the truth to come out. Miko was his adopted son who arranged the forgery.
The original and only REAL will had JoAnn Corales as executor.
JoAnn was Marlon's friend for YEARS. Marlon had met Medavoy once and never met Dressler. Marlon would never have left his whole estate in the hands of an accountant, Dressler, Medavoy's brother in law, whom Marlon had never even met. Before all this started Medavoy's house payment was late, he was in financial trouble. Then he got his buddy Miko to forge a trust naming Medavoy and Dressler and executors. They sold everything as fast as they could, personal things that Marlon would never have wanted sold. I hope this all comes out. Many people have known of this for a long time but everyone was afraid to say anything. Now finally Angela has told the truth. She is my hero.
She was the strongest in the end. The guy who supposedly notarized the will, a friend of Miko's (lived in same building) what a coincidence! Marlon always had everything properly notarized by disinterested witnesses. They drugged him up, murdered him and took him to where--UCLA-where Medavoy is on the Board of Directors. Not his usual hospital, St. Johns.
It all stink to high heaven. And Angela is right. THE SIGNATURE ON THE TRUST IS A FORGERY AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT. MARLON DID NOT SIGN EVERYTHING OVER TO MEDAVOY AND DRESSLER JUST DAYS BEFORE HE DIED. Medavoy ought to be ordered to give it all back to the heirs. Every dime he and his attorneys billed the estate, thousands on thousands while Christian had no car, no health insurance.... This is why Christian drinks. Because he knew what was happening but didnt know how to stop it. Maybe now he will fight.

Interesting, withheld. I had read a couple of articles about this suit (regarding Marlon Brando's changing of his will shortly before he died), but knew of none of the details you mentioned. (Also, news stories have mentioned that Borlaza is seeking proceeds from the sale of a house she claims Brando bought for her as well as $2 million in punitive damages, so it did seem that she might simply be a disgruntled employee. It depends on how you read the articles.) Granted, people can change their will if they wish, but anyone who is mentally incapacitated (as in the case of someone who is seriously ill, suffering from dementia) cannot legally execute legal documents. I know this from dealing with elderly relatives and also from being a notary public some years ago. This whole scenario does smell fishy, but, as I mentioned, I don't know any details, such as Brando's mental state at the time, his relationship (or lack thereof) with Corrales, Marshak or Medavoy. If fraud was involved, Christian Brando (and all the other heirs) have every right to be seething and should contest this new will. My interest is piqued and I'll be watching to see how this plays out. But frankly, my first thought was not about the heirs but rather, "Hell, even in death this guy can't get any peace."

Incidentally, wasn't Miko Brando borne by Movita, Marlon Brando's second wife? I know Petra was adopted, but I thought all the rest of the brood were his natural offspring.

Marlon had known the REAL EXECUTOR Corrales for YEARS. Her REAL CO-EXECUTOR, Alice M., was Marlon's long time trusted secretary. After Marlon died Medavoy stole the computer from Marlon's home with all Alice's instructions and notes from Marlon on it. Alice and Jo Ann were the REAL executors of Marlons's will, the ONLY REAL WILL. Just days before he died, Marlon could not write. See the Christie's catalogue, there's a copy of Marlon's driver's license with his recent signature, it does not match the signature on the trust.
The signature on the trust is a forged copy of the signature on the will. Attorney Charles Lawson had the will in his possession, Charles got it and drafted the trust TOTALLY TO THE BENEFIT OF HIS CLIENT DRESSLER AND HIS BROTHER IN LAW MEDAVOY. Somebody ought to subpena phone records and investigate. Compare the fonts on the will and trust, a computer expert could tell you that THE TRUST IS FAKE by the tag lines at the bottom as to when it was written and what computers they came from.

Yes Angela wants money, but she is STILL TELLING THE TRUTH. The signature on the TRUST IS A FORGERY. She is the one person who has come out IN PUBLIC to reveal this. See, she is the only one with any spine or guts in the end. She must have loved Marlon very much to risk her life to say this. Marlon was ill in the end and not able to hold a pen much less sign a signature in those last days before he died.

There was no disintereted witness to the trust because Miko is an heir and Miko's friend supposedly witnessed the trust (another lie, he wasn't there when Marlon supposedly signed, Marlon never signed as he could not hold a pen or write then and he had dementia so he also had no idea what he was doing). The male friend of Miko's was not at the house with Marlon that day, only Angela, his live in caretaker, was when Dressler and Charles Lawson arrived. Miko got his buddy who was living in the SAME apt. building in L.A. that Miko lives at, to do the trust witness signature LATER and not in the presence of Marlon. The apt. building is on Motor Avenue if my memory serves me, the address is in the probate court files, that's where Mike got his mail.

As for Miko being adopted.... When Marlon was married to Anna Kashfi and Christian was young, Anna kidnapped Christian and took him to Tijuana. At that time custody of children was rarely given to men. Marlon had to think of something to show the judge that he was able to take care of his first born son, Christian. Rumor is Marlon pulled Miko out of an orphanage in Tijuana and called Miko his son so the judge would perceive Marlon as a man capable of having a family, a home, another brother to raise Christian with. Keep in mind this was a custody battle over Christian. Miko's real last name is GERARDO. Miko GERARDO. Not MIKO BRANDO. MIko is NOT biologically a Brando.

So two of the heirs, Rebecca and Miko are not Brando's by blood.
Petra is another daughter whom Marlon adopted, she is a lawyer in London who was disinherited in the end. The only real Brando's are Christian, Christina Ruiz' three kids, and the ones in Tahiti who are not educated and were promised lots of things
that Medavoy never delivered once he got control of their islands.

Marlon's greatest wish, and this is in his ONLY authorized autobiography, was to preserve that island for the people who lived there and never sell it or let the greedy real estate developers in (his words!). Within months of his death Medavoy sold 8 island for A MEASLEY 2 million, lying to the heirs and claiming he just leased it and so on, promising the Tahitian kids jobs at the hotel, bribing them! Marlon thought he had the islands protected by a corporation that prevented the group of islands from ever being developed for commercial purposes (the anti hotel clause) that was in the corporate by-laws. So Medavoy had the new company buy all the shares of the old corporation and that's how they got against the DO NOT BUILD A HOTEL ON THE ISLANDS restriction. Medavoy is out for money. He has no regard for Marlon's wishes. And all the private leer jet flights back and forth by David Seeley, also charged to the heirs. Meanwhile Christian has no health insurance. Jo Ann Corrales was given instructions by Marlon about how to look after his kids, not Medavoy.

The new executors, Dressler and Medavoy, stole the estate.
The money has been unevenly distributed. Christina Ruiz knows it's a forgery but is afraid to talk because Medavoy and his relatives are Russian mafia. Medavoy's nephew DEALS in pharmaceuticals.

As for the stuff sold at Christie's. Marlon didn't want that.
For example, unbeknowst to Medavoy (because Marlon never really appointed him), years before there was a fire. That fire claimed many things, and Marlon had a home insurance policy to cover it. Marlon got the check. Some of the same things that Marlon got insurance money for turned up for sale at Christies! Now the insurance company doesn't know about this or Christies would have to reimburse them. And Medavoy obviouslly was never told by Marlon to sell his personal things because if so,
Marlon would have told him DO NOT SELL MY SCRIPT TO THE GODFATHER, THAT IS PRIVATE, LEAVE THAT FOR MY KIDS
And his letters to Martin Luther King Jr and from Jack K. (the beatnit) and so on--his heirs were not even provided a copy. So basically his minor kids grow up without seeing the most precious of Marlon's effects.

And did anyone see the article by George Rush in NY? How they even sold Marlon's medical card at auction? How humiliating for Marlon. And his driver's license sold at auction, that makes him look silly, bad photo, A lot of people don't like their driver's license photos and Marlon was a star, and intensely private me. He would never have wanted Medavoy seling off his personal things.
They even sold his American Express card. The same card Larry Dressler called American Express and cancelled. And the notes in the GODFATHER SCRIPT, where Marlon wrote something about a particular line making him look stupid. Marlon would not have wanted that released to the public. Medavoy is a vulture.
Dressler and Medavoy never cared about the heirs, only what they could take from them.

Hmmm . . . uh, whoa . . . heavy reading.

I have no insider info, just info from news articles. For example, I had read about the fire and certain items reportedly destroyed by it being put up for auction. In a June 27, 2005 article written by George Rush (who writes for the New York Daily News), it states: "Meanwhile, longtime Brando associates wonder if the auction could expose the estate to charges of insurance fraud. According to sources, several lots in the catalogue were once reported by Brando as having been destroyed in a fire.

'To my knowledge, that's untrue,' says Bawden [estate attorney]. 'The estate wouldn't offer any items it didn't believe it had good title to.'"

I never heard or read anymore about this situation (regarding insured items). I did, however, take a look at what was auctioned off and saw that Brando's driver's license, Medicare card, and some credit cards -- Price Club, AMX -- were auctioned off, and I thought that extremely tacky. And a bible with his notes scribbled in it -- I think that should have stayed in the family. In spite of the fact that the proceeds of the auction were to benefit the heirs, there was memorabilia auctioned that I thought a private man might not want offered to the public.

Most of the news stories I read about the changing of the will stated that, supposedly, Brando felt Medavoy would be more business-like, more equitable in the disbursement of the estate. Can't comment on that as I didn't personally know the man or his mindset at the time. However, if it can be proven in court that Marlon Brando was not of a sound mind when the second will was made and there was fraud involved, such will is invalid. I guess that burden of proof is on Ms. Borlaza. Good luck to her. I've never been involved in any kind of inheritance dispute, but I've known others who were, and I'll be watching to see how this comes out.

Incidentally, in that same George Rush article mentioned above, it states that Marlon Brando wanted the estate executors to take care of his troubled son, Christian. I can't help but think that, as he is a grown man, Christian Brando must be embarassed by such a remark. I hope that if he does get any money he uses it to get untroubled. As I stated in an earlier post, from what a lot of posters on the board seem to feel, he has the potential to be a decent fellow.

Friend of Marlon: The incident you mention about the kidnapping -- was that the kidnapping in the early 70s when Christian Brando's mother left him in a commune somewhere in Mexico? I understand that incident resulted in a custody hearing which ended with Marlon Brando getting custody and Anna Kashfi slapping Marlon Brando in the fact -- right in front of news cameras!

Has anyone read the article titled: "Fall From The House of Brando"? It was written by Peter Manso. It talks about Marlon's last days and the change in the will.

I've read some news articles with comments by Peter Manso regarding Marlon Brando's will, but not the article titled "Fall From The House of Brando".

Schenectady: Was the Manso article to which you refer published in Playboy?

Yes. It was published in Playboy only a short time after Marlon died. I remember the article mentioning that someone named George Englund had visited Marlon the day before Marlon was taken to the hospital. The caretaker told Mr. Englund that Marlon's health was improving. The article also stated that the drug Norco was present.

Thanks, Schenectady, for the info.

George Englund knew Marlon Brando for about fifty years and professed to be a friend. He directed Brando in the 1963 film The Ugly America and wrote the book Marlon Brando: The Way It's Never Been Done Before, yet another biography about Brando.

I also read in some article somewhere about Brando's last days that Brando had a big bottle of Norco on his bedside table. (Norco is the market name for hydrocodone, a narcotic painkiller, somewhat akin to Vicodin.) It helps with pain, but it is addictive and can impair your judgment. A source (Jo Ann Corrales) mentioned that Brando might have been double filling prescriptions for Norco (filling two similar prescriptions in one day at two different drugstores), however, no mention was made in the article as to how much Norco Brando was actually taking.

Would not the FBI be involved in an investigation of this sort, if money has been obtained by fraudulent means? What a sly move on the parts of Miko and his bunch. WHERE ARE THE PRIOR DETECTIVES THAT PROTECTED MARLON'S INTERESTS? People like JJ. Armes and James Briscoe? Surely a con game like this could be exposed by law enforcement professionals and their associates. The sad thing is a lot of these sharks have fed off this man and his heirs estate. Would seem like a great idea for the blood heirs to challenge this nonsense pulled off on them in Probate Court and put these crooks behind bars!

I dunno. So far, the only person of whom I've heard contest the second will is the housekeeper Angela Borlaza, who claimed the signature was forged and Brando was not mentally sound at the time, claims that need to be investigated if she wants to prove her case. Christian Brando did make a bid [unsuccessfully] to remove certain items from the Christie's auction, but I didn't read that anyone else did so or tried to stop the auction. And I didn't read about any other heirs questioning the will. Of course, like I said, all I know is what I read, and there could be disgruntled heirs, but their story hasn't hit the papers.

Just did a quickie Lexis-Nexis search and found this (dated earlier this month): "Brando biographer Peter Manso said about six other lawsuits have been filed since the star died, but this one [the Borlaza suit] may serve to uncover details of Brando's final days." (Bracketed text is my addition.)

So yeah, suits have been filed, but most ain't made the papers.

Mr.Brando murdered? This must mean Angela Borlaza and her sister, who was employed as Mr. Brando's nurse and who adminstered all drugs, both were involved in a murder conspiracy with Mr. Medavoy. Is this the contention of "Marlon's friend"?

Christian Brando's bid to withdraw at least one item was successful.
The current executors took a medal that was engraved with his name CHRISTIAN DEVI. It was given to Christian when he was younger. It was pulled by Christies from the catalogue immediately prior to the auction according to a George Rush article. Apparently Christian's former attorney had it done at Christian's request. Christian never got to see what was sold before it was sold and they scheduled the sale while he was in rehab so he couldn't attend. Nasty folks.

The implication is that yes, Marlon was murdered in a scheme to forge the trust by Medavoy and Dressler, aided by Seeley so they could take control of the islands and Marlon's properties, including intellectual property rights.

Withheld--that would be very difficult to prove unless there is hard proof. I certainly hope that it is not true.

While it is going to be very hard to prove a conspiracy (hell, it always is!), I would think that it would be a bit more straightforward to prove or disprove Marlon Brando's mental fitness at the time of the second will. It will be interesting to see what happens if such will (with the new executors) is ruled invalid because it's decided that Brando was not mentally sound at the time of signing (or if the signature is ruled a forgery). If such happens, then what?

Incidentally, something that was posted earlier caused a stupid question with no relevance to much of anything to pop in my head and I know I'll get laughed at or flamed and I certainly mean no disrespect but I'm flat out curious: Can you reschedule rehab? Anyway, the Christie's auction was scheduled a couple of months in advance. (I dug up a May 6, 2005 article advertising the June 30, 2005 auction.) Does a person schedule rehab that far in advance?

By the way, I read that Christian Brando did get back a St. Christopher's medal that was a gift from his mother. Good for him.

Upon the will being filed, it became public record. The signature on the amendment to the will appears extremely neat and tight. Not what one would expect from a man in Mr. Brando's condition at the time of the signing. The second signature is very different from the original (first) signature. This is only my personal observation. I am not a hand writing expert.

These are high profile lawyers who probably get paid a lot of money for handling celebrity cases. Why would they risk their career to do this?

Schenectady, the voice of reason, good point. It would be career suicide (not to mention jail time) to be convicted of such a huge act of fraud. Still, it will be interesting to see how this plays out, and it will probably be playing out for years to come.

I asked that silly question about rescheduling rehab because years ago I had a neighbor who was always planning on going to rehab for a "mild" drug problem, but was always putting it off because he didn't have the money, he was on tour, he was too busy, he had a hot date, the planets weren't in proper alignment, etc. Of course, this was voluntary rehab, and I believe Christian Brando's rehab was court ordered, so he probably wouldn't have much choice in the matter. (Incidentally, my neighbor died in his sleep before he ever got to rehab.)

The Norco might have affected Marlon's mental fitness. Didn't Marlon have a history of liver ailments? Who would perscribe a drug that has possible liver side effects to a man that has a history of some liver ailments?

When looking up Norco, I was referred to Vicodin. From the Physician’s Desk Reference: “Use Vicodin with caution if you have a severe liver or kidney disorder, an underactive thyroid gland, Addison's disease (a disease of the adrenal glands), an enlarged prostate, or urethral stricture (narrowing of the tube carrying urine from the bladder). Older adults and those in a weakened condition should be careful using Vicodin, since it contains a narcotic. “

In a quick search for info regarding Marlon Brando and liver ailments, I came across conflicting stories:

From cinematical.com:

“The notoriously reclusive Brando hated doctors and hospitals, and recieved [sic] most of his medical care at hime [sic], at the hands of his maid/mistress. Rhodes says he became concerned when he found out that the maid (in cahoots with her sister, a registered nurse) had been giving Marlon injections of a painkiller which enlarged his liver.”

Note: Most other news articles indicate no foul play. They state that doctors had discovered a tumor on his liver about a week before he died, but didn’t operate on it. Some articles say that Brando requested that there be no surgery, other articles just say he died before they could operate on it.

The man was probably in a lot of pain at the end and Norco was used to keep him comfortable, but yeah the stuff probably altered his thinking.

Wasn't David Seeley the attorney JoAn Corralus employed, to no avail, in trying to keep her son from going to prison for methamphetemine distrubtion?

Didn't find anything to verify this. Only connection I could find between Jo An Corrales and David J. Seeley is they were both employed by Marlon Brando (he as an attorney for the estate and she was one time executor of the estate and one time business manager for Brando) and they both live in Washington state (she in Kalama, his office is in Kirkland). Apparently Seeley is working on the development of some of Brando's islands into resorts.

Note: As an attorney, Seeley is involved in distribution of any proceeds of resort development to the estate; he's not the developer.

Don't know if this is off topic or not (or exactly what the topic is at this point), but I read that this past Tuesday (July 25, 2006) Superior Court Judge Edward A. Ferns rejected a second motion to dismiss the spousal abuse case filed last year by Christian Brando's ex-wife. On Tuesday, Ferns said he saw nothing different [from the first motion, filed in April 2006] to change his mind. So this case will go forward and the ex-wife is asking for a pretty hefty sum ($1.2 million or abouts?). I read that CB did plead guilty to spousal abuse, and was put on probation and sent to rehab. (I guess that was the rehab he was in when the Christies auction took place.) Whoa, ugly. Does Christian Brando actually have this kind of money right now? Or is this yet another case of someone going for part of the estate?

The "Godfather" script is going to be auctioned off in October at the Heritage Auction Galleries in Dallas, Texas.

You're right, an annotated third draft of the Godfather script and some other Brando movie memorabilia (photos, letters) is being auctioned in early October. You know, I thought the auctioning of some of his things (such as his driver's license) at Christies was just plain tacky (geez, did they sell his deodorant?), and also felt some of his personal effects should stay within his family. And an earlier poster said that Brando would not have wanted his Godfather script sold; he would have wanted it saved for his kids. Since I ain't an insider, I don't know how Brando would have felt about the upcoming Dallas auction. However, I can't help but think that this script and the other movie mementos will be a real kick to some lucky (and monied) movie buffs.

Christian, if you are reading or any one whom is in touch with him in CA. Chris, you have a job if you want thru the Unions, the piple-line projects in the north require outstanding welders. They are treated the best of the crew. Great bucks and N. Living allowance etc. Look into it and ask the business agents for a travel card. Also Extreme Welders in S. Africa relocate welders all over the planet. Good luck buddy.

I doubt very much that he is even paying any attention to any boards. Just my opinion.

Maybe not, but a couple of days ago I saw you know who's post, and then there was a thank you post from someone. (There was a reference to 10212 [New York zip code] in the thank you post.) Such post has disappeared, but apparently someone was grateful for the info, and hopefully somebody will get a job.

On another note: Jack Nicholson is planning to knock down Marlon Brando's former Los Angeles estate and plant flower beds on the property which neighbors his home. The Shining actor bought the property for $6.1 million following his close friend Brando's death in 2004, and has been advised it will be too expensive to renovate the "derelict" building which is plagued by mould. The 69-year-old says, "It's more likely that we will take the house down."

That zip code is definitely a New York zip code. However, it is not familiar.

The reference made was that somebody was a good 10212 friend, and I thought the number referred to a zip code. I looked up 10212; it's a zip somewhere around Manhattan. However, the poster could have meant something completely different and the next time I looked the post had disappeared.

See I told Christian that Jack paid 6 mil for the house, the estate sent everyone letters saying that he bought it for five mil and it turns out to be 6.1, so where did the rest of the money go and why is the estate lying to the heirs?

Withheld: The paragraph that I posted about Nicholson buying Brando's house for $6.1 million was from a report on imdb.com. That's a fairly reputable site, but I also saw other reports that stated that the house was indeed sold for $5 million. Other reports [from British sources] stated that the house sold for 3.4 million British pounds, which converts today to a little over $6,430,000 US dollars. Unless a person saw actual legal papers, one wouldn't know how much the house actually sold for, so it is possible that Nicholson only paid $5 million for it.

Incidentally, according to a bunch of these reports, Brando called the place "Frangipani" after the flower, and so Nicholson is going to plant frangipani flowers on the acreage after the house is torn down. Reports also noted that Nicholson originally wanted to preserve the house for Brando's children, but none of them showed much interest in the place, and the building would cost too much to repair, so it's going to flowerbeds. (Incidentally, this is total conjecture, but I think Brando might just like the idea of his last home and abode turning into a giant field of frangipanis.)

oyl gurl looking for u, $ for u to make in icebox. contact V. no.

I understand that Jack Nicholson was advised to tear the house down due to the fact that it was loaded with mold. The difference in price from $6 million to $5 million may be due to whoever was advising Jack Nicholson to tear the house down. Surveyors?

Well, depending on what news report you read, Nicholson paid either $5 million, 3.4 million pounds, $6 million, $6.1 million or $6.5 million. But, yep, all reports state that the house is loaded with mold and would be expensive to repair, so it's being torn down.

The house is full of mold likey because pot may have been grown there, possibly by Christian.

Sorry Bchydrobud, Christian was living in the state of Washington at the time and had been for a very long time.

Yeah, speaking as someone who has lived and worked in buildings with mold problems, the cause is usually more mundane than illicit pot growing -- something more along the lines of bad plumbing, a hole in the roof, leaky pipes, faulty windows, deferred maintenance.

I suppose that is how Sonny his Rottweiler ended up at the house of mold as he could not take care of him at his shack in W. State. Nor could he most times of himself and usually ended up sleeping at his dad's home in CA or in the guest house there or for that matter under a vehicle somewhere when he was coming down off something...I have known him for close to 40 years and nothing surprises me about him or his unusual family. He is just plain lost and wierde at times from drug and alcohol use and he has had every chance there is to smarten his life up.

He is his own problem, not anyone else's and I say that as a friend who knows he has worn his welcome out being like that. There is no excuse and he never learned a thing since that gun accident. That is the hard truth....!

someonewhoknows: What happened to the dog, Sonny the Rottweiler? Is he okay?

Sonny, was Christian's dog and passed away. the dog was treated well and so were Marlon's dogs. They just did not allow them up on the furniture like some people do....

Good to hear Sonny was comfortable, bad to hear that Christian Brando ain't. As I posted a couple of months ago, the posts here seem to suggest that while he has the potential to be a decent man, he ain't using that potential. Rats, damn shame. While testing a periodicals database recently, I looked for articles on Christian Brando pre-1990. I came across one from 1987 in which CB recounted filming a movie in Italy. The film was based on the true story of a hitman killing an Italian political candidate in broad daylight, and Brando played the hitman. The director was very favorably impressed with Brando's performance. (Later articles stated that the film was never released, no reason given.) CB spoke highly (and quite lovingly) of his father, spoke of welding and cutting trees (he liked both crafts), working with roughnecks up North (he was forever in fights), and how he was excited about acting but would go back to cutting trees if it didn't pan out. It seemed like he had the intention of being a productive, good man. Yeah, I know, the best laid plans of mice and men ... and I must fess up that I didn't follow through on all my good intentions ... still, rats .....

I haven't been around much lately (working double shifts and the like) but CB should really stay on that medicine he says he is taking and get rid of these losers once and for all. The man is going to need a job soon because there doesn't seem to be that much money to fight over anymore. Hey, DS, I will get ahold of you soon. I have had problems with the computer and I have been out of the loop. But seems my tomcat will have more money than CB before too long.

Withheld: You had a query about the price of the Brando residence. I noted that different news pieces quoted different prices. Here is an excerpt from an article by Russell Miller ("Mutiny on His Bounty" on timesonline.co.uk):

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Brando’s next-door neighbour Jack Nicholson put in a bid for 12900 Mulholland Drive, which he had coveted for some time. He offered $5m, which was accepted by the executors without their offering the property for sale on the open market. By this time, the executors had obtained an “official” valuation of the property from a court-appointed probate examiner, which assessed its value at only $3,900,000. A prominent Beverly Hills estate agent begged to differ; if the property could be subdivided, he felt it could attract offers of around $20m.

Elizabeth Bawden, Medavoy’s lawyer, wrote a formal letter to the Brando children, describing the $5m offer for their father’s house as “great news!”, and warning them that any objections to the sale would be fought in court. The children were invited to make 30-minute appointments at the property, during which time they would be allowed to remove whatever mementos they wanted.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Miller states that Bawden e-mailed him that the residence was sold at the “highest price available”, but would not explain why the property was not offered on the open market. Anyway, you asked about the selling price and I tripped over this info (looking for something else), so thought I'd post it for you. (Incidentally, the article is a good read.)

Meant to post this address with my last post. It is for the Russell Miller article I mentioned above.

MK, sorry to hear your system is not working well. Will be up and going on mine by end of month finally...Same old, same old...d bag is still in there with you know who and they live at the same dump still. Write to me when you can.
Signing out...

Stupid question, but does anybody who purports to know Christian Brando know if he did indeed try to get welding work on the Alaska pipeline?

He was interested a time ago in changing unions, and we tried thereafter to get him work in the oil sands. He is more interested in taking drugs and hanging out with hussies that sell their bodies. So its up to him, right now he is not working.

namewithheld: Thanks for answering my query. I was just curious.

Mementos removed . HA! Like Marlon's Rolodex.

You know, when I read the comment about Marlon Brando's rolodex, my first thought was: I'm sure Marlon Brando's rolodex is under wraps somewhere with his legal team or some business manager, agent or trusted third party, etc. Then I did a quick Google search and came across articles dated September 5, 2006 reporting that Christian Brando had allegedly gained possession of the rolodex (which contained valid phone numbers of a 100 or so celebrities) and had sold or given it to some mystery person who was going to put it up on eBay, with a starting bid of 100 bucks! According to these reports, Miko Brando and a friend stopped the sale and Marlon Brando's attorney is trying to locate the rolodex. Incredulous! I can't verify the accuracy of the reports, but if I had read this on April 1, I would have thought it an April Fool's hoax.

Marlon's rolodex is probably worth a lot of money due to the phone numbers that might be in it. If Miko stopped the sale of the Rolodex, then how is it that Marlon's lawyer does not know where it is? Just curious.

Good point, Schenectady. The articles I saw were from online sources, and apparently The New York Post printed a piece in its gossip column. But nothing in the L.A.Times, or the New York Times, or the Chicago Tribune. And for such a volatile entertainment story (the list of names on the Rolodex included some heavy hitters), it wasn't reported on eonline.com, or imdb.com, or The Hollywood Reporter online. Some really whacked out stories can be true (there's a story on The Legal Reader about a man trying to arrange a date with a corpse), and then factual sounding articles that quote reputable sources turn out to be false, so it's hard to know what to believe. For me, the jury is still out on this piece of news.

I saw an interview this morning (originally published on September 7) in the New York Daily News in which Christian Brando responds to the rolodex story. He says he had nothing to do with the stealing or hawking of it. His girlfriend states that they did get some dishes from Marlon Brando's home earlier this year, but that Christian did not take the phone book.

It appears Mr. Medavoy has a stranglehold on the West Coast media.

Hmmm ... I dunno ... what makes you think that?

Christian didn't take anything from his dad's home except some old clothes that belonged to him. Donna Glenn took as much as she could get, hundreds of dishes, boxes full of stuff.
There was one small jewelry box Christian wanted and she wouldn't let him have it. As for the Rolodex, Christian doesn't like watches and never wears one. Anything of value was stripped months before Christian and Donna were invited up. Christies auction house had already picked everything they wanted. There was no art, jewelry or anything left, just ordinary household items. Christian didn't get to see what the estate, Medavoy (who got Marlon's address book) or anyone else took.
Miko got the big tv. So the only people who had access to the house BEFORE Christian were Medavoy, Dressler, Elizabeth Bawden, Charles Larson, Miko, Angela and that thing that Miko slept with years ago, the only female trustee.

Figures Donna would grab anything she could. What about the tools she stole of Christian's that she has stored up at her cop borther's place in Santa Barbara! What about the 5K she took from a journalist for an interview Christian was supposed to do, but he was involved with Rehabilation for his substance abuse problem! What about the money she is milking from him because she refuses to get off her whoring ass and find a real job!
Donna is a scag who is someone who steals from people for a living, as in working for felons who break into peoples homes and steal, like Barry Gordon Brown!

Yep, from what everyone says she sounds pretty seedy, but then Christian Brando has been with her for a while, so she must have some attractive quality (or he is okay with living in a Bukowski novel). Just curious: Has Marlon Brando's former residence been torn down yet?

Oh yeah Donna Glenn aka Donna Geon alias Donna Lopez has some attractive qualities alright, like providing access to crystal meth and other illegal substances and keeping Brando high so she can connive money out of him. Or partying it up with her dropping pills into his beer to knock him out and taking pills herself along with liquor at the same time to sleep. Oh that is really attractive of her especially her seedy hooker background. She is a skunk and he is to drugged up and liquored up all the time to get out of the bondage....

Anonymous: If what you say is true, then I stand corrected: Ms. Glenn/Geon/Lopez has no attractive qualities and C. Brando ain't her lover as much as he is her meal ticket. (Even Bukowski had moments of clarity and insight and I don't recall any of his whores trying to kill him.) I knew someone whose elderly aunt was being drugged and mistreated by a relative and they were able (using legal means) to get her out of that situation. Doesn't Christian Brando have anybody who can do that for him? Just curious.

Unfortunately, Donna has a lot of control over him by these means. Means of which he has a difficult time to overcome. A drug addict will always welcome the chance to use if he does not have a support network. Christian was given back some meth by Donna when Christian's lawyer had taken the meth away. Donna does not allow anyone to speak to Christian. No one hardly at all, Christian's mom once in a while. Donna hides his mail and screens his phone calls, she is a nut that only wants to keep him unable to make good decisions so she can take advantage of him. The only manner in how she could be detoured from this conduct of hers and the losers she hangs out with whom all use Christian is if the law stepped in, even his probation officer does not seem to have any effect. Who knows, it would take a real heavy to set aside that grunt, Donna and keep her away from Christian and perhaps that hopefully would happen.

It is true and Donna keeps him under total control. She creens his phone calls, his mail, will not allow him to talk anyone hardly. She gave him back meth when his lawyer took it away.

I wondered about his being on probation. Doesn't he have to submit to random (i.e. unannounced) drug testing? I would think at some point he would flunk a test and then something would happen -- hell, I don't know, jail, eviction, his home searched, more rehab -- something that could separate him from the current scenario. I would think that his probation officer would notice that he's an addict and do something, but then he or she might be dealing with 100 other cases. It sounds like this Donna could give Bonnie Lee Bakley a run for her money (if BLB weren't dead) and face it, BLB was scamming people for a long time.

Christian Brando admitted in court to," having to watch his mouth more!" Although, he finally realized his mouthy comments, he certainly did not realize to further mistreat his genuine friends he has cut off because of a jealous and insecure alcoholic pill popper girlfriend he is with whom is using him! He has not got any real friends whatsoever these days!

Christian Brando and David Gest, Liza Minnelli's ex not only share the same birthday, but looks in common, check out the sunglasses they are always usually photographed in, the dropping chin, and puffy eyes and cheeks, the pasty colored skin palor, the puffy eyes, and string eyebrows...separated at birth? They have so much in common, both get abused by their partner....

I doubt that Christian Brando and David Gest are related in any way.

On my first post on this site I noted that about half the posters here say that Christian Brando has the potential to be a decent fellow but yet, as the other half point out, he constantly succumbs to drugs and parasitic people. When I pointed out that Donna Geon/Lopez/whatever must have some attractive quality (i.e., attractive to CB) that got her with him, a bunch of people said no, he's an addict and she's got him so drugged up that he cannot get away from her, and nobody can help, not even his probation officer. Yet others said he chooses to use and self destruct. Face it, he was getting drugs long before he met Donna, he didn't need her for his supply. So why did he hook up with her? Great sex? A better source of drugs? Just to have a woman? (What, does he not have enough grief in his life already?) Is it that he makes bad decisions, or that he makes no decisions?

He has little self-esteem, whore mongering is something he is obviously used to ala other smut types of company, everything from nudie girl posers to all sorts of seamy types. Goes with the territory of drugs etc. and the seedy side of Hollywood. If one is used to that sort of element, then one finds it anywhere one lives and Christian never misses out finding that element somehow!

Ya, we've all got our type. The type of people (and jobs and love and fun, etc.) we look for. And you say he always finds his. Here's hoping that if he changes his type and wants something different, he can find it. Peace out.

The problem is that he has to want to change. He will not be able to take control over his life if he doesn't realize that he has a problem and decides to do something about it. Otherwise, he will never want to or be able to get a way from those type of people about which you speak.

True. A lot of change happens without your consent, but to change your mind (and your life) you have to have the desire to do so. An earlier poster said that he/she tried to interest CB in some work opportunities, but he wasn't interested. So maybe he doesn't see his life as problematic at the moment, maybe he's okay with the status quo. (Interesting note: I read the other day that very few prisoners tried to escape from the Bastille -- the infamous French prison -- because they were given three bottles of wine per day and were so intoxicated that they never had the gumption to leave.) Anyway, the woman who testified about his possible involvement with the Bakley case had been hired as a "handler," someone to keep CB off drugs, and though that didn't work out it seems that he did want to clean up his act at one point. Perhaps this point will come again.
An observation (since this is a legal-oriented board): If his spousal abuse case comes before a judge, being unemployed and a substance abuser might not play too well, huh?

It probably wouldn't play very well with the judge or jury (if it goes to a jury). His substance abuse might be a reason for his behavior. If it turns out that it does go to court, I wonder if the attornies would go into how addictions affect the brain.

As he was sent to rehab, any drug and/or alcohol use (by either party) could be examined during the case. As to how addictions affect the brain, I've heard that amphetamine addiction can make someone paranoid, and of course drinking affects your judgment, but I don't know how such a case will be argued (or if it will go in front of a jury).

Or if it will get much media coverage, as the case does involve a minor. (Although it seems to me that Brando's ex-wifey [self-proclaimed daughter of Elvis] would not be adverse to any publicity.)

So far, nothing has come out about either the Presley case or the Blake case in recent months. I wonder if the Presley case has been settled yet.

In July, a judge rejected a SECOND motion to dismiss the spousal abuse case, so the case is going forward. It might be settled, although I highly doubt it. Hopefully, the attorneys will be discreet in speaking with the press, although, Christ I don't know what makes me think they will be. Interesting note: I read on another legal blog that in the UK, nothing can be published about a domestic abuse case before the trial. The author of the blog pointed out that this is to cut down on hearsay and conjecture (ie., defendant ALLEGEDLY struck plaintiff with a shoe, plaintiff CLAIMS that she was set on fire, details paint a dark picture of a raging man) as, pre-trial, most of the matter is still he said/she said.

I have to say this is all sad but if he does read all this it is sad. You dont have to let life get to you like that. I dont drink. smoke or do drugs. Ive had a very hard childhood, family deaths, a brother who died, spousal abuse, and I never thought where are the drugs. I wish I could meet him, and show him life is great with out all that.I enjoy his fathers movies, I love the old films. I have me and my kids and that is life, and a good one.

Yep, if what's been noted on the board is true, it is sad. Haven't seen any reports about the civil rights/abuse case and I wonder if it could be handled with mediation or arbitration (and not litigation) and thus resolved more quietly. Might be good for all parties concerned.

According to papers filed Dec. 22 in the Brando estate probate case, Borlaza agreed through mediation to settle all claims for $125,000, the Los Angeles Times newspaper reported Thursday.

I saw that article, and imdb.com also reported the story (though they gave a different settlement amount). I was a bit surprised. I thought, if she got anything, it wouldn't be the $2 million she asked for, but I thought it would be more than $125,000.

Quite a drop from the original amount. I wonder why she settled for so little

Question: Besides asking for punitive damages, Borlaza claimed wrongdoing on the part of the new executors. She argued that the actor had trained her to identify his true signature from forgeries and she believed the signature on the will to be a forgery. She said Brando was so ill that he was incapable of competently making changes to the will. Okay, Ms. Borlaza settled her suit and got a monetary settlement (as stated, much less than what she originally requested). Since her suit was settled, does this infer that her claims of forgery and fraud were invalid and henceforth the current will (created shortly before his death) is valid?

I cant sleep without of sleeping pills, but be aware that as a central nervous system depressant, the combination of sleeping pills with another central nervous system depressant can lead to overdose and death WBR LeoP

Did Christian Brando ever paint? I have a canvas painting of a cabin on a lake,in the woods, with the mountains in the background. It is signed by C Brando. Could he have painted this while married to Deborah or while in rehab? I have pics of the painting if anyone has ANY info on this.
Just have to know.

Concerning the painting: it sounds like a photograph of Christian, which I possess, taken in the woods at a lake in Washington State. Marlon's property was located west of Mt St Helens, althought one could not see the mountain from his property. Christian's drawings were very simplistic: Christian's artwork was similar to a childs. Christian adored being in the woods, away from people and the hussle n bussle of daily life. FYI: Christian never signed any welding\artwork he did.

That sounds like a good recipe for Brando, spending life in rural out back areas...to bad he cannot get off drugs in LA and dump the losers he associates with in LA. It is not like he hasn't been given the opportunities to do so. He should give his head a shake, that one.

CORRECTION: Christian did sign very very few his metal pieces only with the letters "CB" in welding rod. I dont believe he would have ever signed his last name. There is a Christina Brando was is a painter. No relation.

To UNO ME...............where is the Christian Brando from that did the painting? Just have to know about the painting's history. Email at beerguy_24@hotmail.com to let me know more. Thanks for the replies.

correction........Christina Brando painting ( not Christian)

I thought people would like to know that Christian settled his court case with Debra Presley today.

I didn't even notice until I checked this board tonight. Good, it was quiet.

I understand that they settled the case before the jury was selected.

CHRISTIAN BRANDO IS THE TOPS TO ME!!!!

I LOVE YA DUDE, LOVE YA DUDE.

I AM THE ULTIMATE CHRISTIAN BRANDO GROUPIE!

DEBORAH JUNE

Mr. Blake's appeal makes for incredible reading. I would be SHOCKED if an appeal wasn't granted.

I will never stop supporting Christian.

All this garbage from his ex-wife well she knew what she was getting into.

No sympathy from me.

I think most people who know me know what I think of Chris.

DJ: why don't you set up a free website at Bravenet, like a murderers worship groupie site? You have went from fantasizing about Brando to not liking him to back again. I don't think most people care about your obsession. He claims he doesn't even know who you are. And he sure doesn't need another Bonnie in his life. When does Christian's actions become HIS responsibility?

DJ - Christian already has an unhealthy skank in his life, he certainly does not need, nor is willing to give up his lifestyle, so I doubt your fantasy with him will take you into his sad life...so give it up because you sound unhealthy and you demontrate a fan obsession, and it could prove dangerous. Get over it because its sick what you feel..you sound like a real freak nut!

Just curious: What is so incredible about Mr. Blake's appeal? I haven't read it, but know he is bankrupt, so anybody waiting for money from the civil case may be flat out of luck. (Incidentally, wow! I thought this thread would be dead by now!)

The lawyer for Robert Blake filed a brief in February. Now they are waiting for Mr. Dubin's response. I find the amount that the civil trial jury decided on was unusually high.

As I uderstand it, they are moving right along. I wonder if Brando is going to show up for the appeal if it is granted. Happy Birthday Christian : getting close to 50!
