Lawyer Argues Sex with Dead Deer Not Crime

Hathaway

Prosecution of a Douglas County [MN] case involving alleged sexual contact with a dead deer may hinge on the legal definition of the word “animal.”

Bryan James Hathaway, 20, of Superior faces a misdemeanor charge of sexual gratification with an animal. He is accused of having sex with a dead deer he saw beside Stinson Avenue on Oct. 11.

A motion filed last week by his attorney, public defender Fredric Anderson, argued that because the deer was dead, it was not considered an animal and the charge should be dismissed.

“The statute does not prohibit one from having sex with a carcass,” Anderson wrote.

Judge Michael Lucci heard the motion Tuesday.

You can read the motion at The Smoking Gun. Details here from the Duluth News Tribune.

This guy is a ticking time bomb! Make a law if there isn't one, cuz that is sick! Why would anyone even think of doing something like that at all! I don't want him near my Grandchildren. There is just no excuse for something so disgusting! He needs to be locked away from society for a time. Pass some kind of a test before he gets turned loose.

Hey, according to the libertines of society, this act is just another life style choice. Like homosexuality, polygamy, and now beastiality, this sexual appetite along with pedophilia will become normalized in the not to distant future. Get use to it! And to discriminate against this guy just because he has disgusting sexual practices, wellll that's just intolrant and bigoted on societies part. If he had not killed the horse and deer, he would of been turned loose with just a fine. And we wonder why our society is having ever more bizarre, unspeakable acts committed, and condoned in our culture, and on our children. When "everything" is permissible, and no one can make decerning judgments on behavior, then this society is doomed. Just like the Roman Empire.

Hey common sense, no, no, no, and let me think... no! This is not a "lifestyle" choice, and no i will not "get used to it". And as for you saying Pedophilia will become "normal" is just a little strange on your part to be saying that. This person has serious issues, half of his brain is not working. and the part that is working must have holes in it. This is UNACCEPTABLE, bottom line. Any person that displays this level of sickness along with pedophiles should be euthanised immediately there is cure, there is no counseling in the world that can help these people.
