    Supreme Court Takes On Collective Punishment

    If the cops find drugs hidden in a car with a driver and two passengers in it, all of whom deny that the drugs are theirs, who can the cops arrest? The Supreme Court considered that question today in Maryland v. Pringle, and Slate's Dahlia Lithwick reports on the arguments here. And The Christian Science Monitor has more about the case here.
