    Judge Accused Of Assaulting Workers

A Warren County [OH] judge started the New Year off with an unpleasant surprise for his employees. Now, he could find himself facing assault charges.

Judge Dallas Powers has been on a voluntary leave for four months while the state investigates allegations of sexual harassment and an inappropriate relationship with an employee.

On Monday, Judge Powers showed up at court and fired three of his four employees. But now, he says he taking them back.

According to a letter written by the attorney of some of Powers' workers, Powers ambushed unsuspecting employees as they entered the building on Monday. It goes on to say he physically attempted to stop some of them from exiting the building, and hit another in the head with an envelope.

I think the proper terminology is that he hit her "upside the head" with an envelope. Details here from WCPO.com.
