Authorities are ordering people to stay inside some downtown buildings as they continue to investigate a shooting at Reno Justice Court.
Family Court Judge Chuck Weller was rushed by ambulance to Washoe Medical Center with a sheriff’s escort. He was believed to be alive, Reno police spokesman Steve Frady said. He is said to be stable and breathing.
The shooting happened about 11:15 a.m in the third floor of Reno Justice Court. Authorities are looking for a sniper who they believed fired the shots from a nearby parking garage.
