They are A-frame black wood highchairs with removable black and white fabric seat pads. The seat pads have blue or pink borders on the top and bottom. The highchairs come with a detachable white plastic tray that has a cone-shaped divider, which fits between your child’s legs. The company name, “Safety 1st”, is printed on the front center of the tray.

If you have one of these models, you should stop using it immediately and contact the company for instructions on getting a replacement tray.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that the recall is due to 68 reports of kids removing the trays, thus increasing the risk of falling. Eleven falls occurred resulting in a variety of injuries including chipped teeth, bruises and lacerations.

The Wood Décor Casablanca, Gentle Lace and Black Lace highchairs were sold between May 2013 and May 2015. The price was approximately $120.00. The chairs in question were sold at Babies R Us & Toys R Us retail stores nationwide and via online retailers such as Amazon.com, BabiesRUs.com, ToysRUs.com, Walmart.com and others.

The recalled highchairs were made in China and imported by Dorel Juvenile Group in Columbus, Indiana (a division of Dorel Industries, Inc.).
