Our law practice was founded in 1970 by Portland attorney Larry Dawson, a Portland native and graduate of Jesuit High School and Lewis & Clark Law School. After practicing for more than 40 years, Larry has retired to a life of fishing, hunting, golfing, and traveling. From 1970 to 1999, Larry was a sole practitioner. In 1999, Larry’s son, Portland attorney Bryan W. Dawson, joined Larry and the practice became Dawson & Dawson, P.C. Bryan quickly showed clients, colleagues, and judges why he was destined for a stellar career representing our clients. When Larry retired in May of 2012, Dawson & Dawson became Dawson Law Group, P.C. Since before Larry’s retirement, DLG has also been home to Portland attorney Ben Larson.
