What to Expect When You’re Going Through Divorce
Through each stage of divorce, understand your emotions, seek legal advice, manage financial implications, and find support.
Katy M. Lovett graduated with honors in 2009 from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) Major in Accounting. She worked as royalty accountant for Apple, Inc. in Austin, Texas from 2009 to 2010. She then somewhat begrudgingly returned to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor in 2013. She was licensed as an attorney in Texas on November 1, 2013. Katy has been practicing family law generally since 2013 and quite happily solely in Williamson County, Texas and Travis County, Texas since 2015. Katy’s main family law practice involves divorces (both high-conflict and uncontested), property characterization in divorces, original custody cases, custody order modifications, enforcements, custody issues and disputes, child support, spousal support, adoptions, and grandparents’ rights.
