I’m an attorney, editor and lecturer with experience across law, business, television and print news. Most recently I was assistant managing editor and columnist at the ABA Journal, the flagship legal affairs magazine of the American Bar Association. Prior to the ABA, I worked for more than a decade as a broadcast news reporter and anchor for local and national television news outlets, covering everything from the Super Bowl to natural disasters to President Obama. I also owned a successful coworking, meeting and event space in Chicago before WeWork was a brand!I stay active in law through pro bono work, primarily serving as a guardian ad litem and children’s representative in Cook County family court. I also teach Legal Ethics as an adjunct professor at Northwestern’s Pritzker School of Law and lecture on Law and Ethics at the Medill School of Journalism.
