Former Pittsburgh “Dog Cop” Files Lawsuit Against Department
“No male officer in Zone 3 was burdened with these onerous and humiliating requirements,” the lawsuit alleges.

“No male officer in Zone 3 was burdened with these onerous and humiliating requirements,” the lawsuit alleges.
In court filings, Burroughs told the Georgia Supreme Court that she started using chemical hair relaxing products to straighten her hair in or around 1995. Many of these products were manufactured by either Strength of Nature or L’Oreal, both of which are named as defendants in the lawsuit.
“This amounts to a wholesale exclusion of certain people—no matter how needy—from state benefits under the program based solely on the religious character of their course of study,” the lawsuit claims. “Banning religious instruction, worship, and proselytization directly burdens religious expression and conditions the receipt of State benefits on nonreligious use.”
“These losers lost at the ballot box and soon they will also lose in court,” said Brandon Richards, a spokesperson for California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
“On July 4, the Camp chose to take no steps to protect its camps and counselors while it knew a storm and ‘life threatening flash flooding’ were approaching,” the lawsuit alleges. “Instead, with the river rising, the Camp chose to direct its groundskeepers to spend over an hour evacuating camp equipment, not its campers and counselors.”
The lawsuit describes how, during the October 14, 2025, appointment, McGraw purportedly “faked” a phone call in the middle of a pelvic examination; after he finished his “call,” he activated the video function on his smartphone camera and placed it into his breast pocket, with the “camera facing outward and recording.”
“It’s basically putting workers in the position of needing to choose between their safety and their paycheck,” said Inimai Chettiar, president of A Better Balance, a legal advocacy organization that helped file the lawsuit.
“While the lawsuit is one potential vector in which we can disrupt it, we also think that this type of cyber activity requires a policy-based approach,” a Google official said.
The Council alleges that the administration’s new policy will make it more difficult for thousands of naturalized citizens to register to vote immediately upon obtaining citizenship.
“Here, the State provides very few particularized factual allegations in its Petition to support its Motion for Leave, instead relying upon sweeping but unsupported claims about Jolt’s motives, beliefs and activities,” Jolt said.
