If you have any uncertainty about going to a pediatrician about your child’s TBI, go. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Traumatic brain injuries are not equal across the board. Since a child’s brain is still developing, the ultimate impact of the TBI may not be known for years after the accident which caused it.
