If you’re one of the many parents who shop for toys for their children at Target, a new recall notice may interest you. Earlier this week, the popular retailer recalled about 500,000 wooden toy cars and trucks over concerns they may pose a choking hazard to small children because the wheels on the toys may detach. It’s important to note, however, that only wooden cars and trucks from the Bullseye Playground Toy collection are affected by the recall. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as of yet.

The toys were available for purchase between October and November 2018 for about $1. Parents could choose between a toy “caboose, a sleigh with Santa in it, an ice cream truck/food truck, a train, a police car, a fire truck, a taxi, and a digger,” according to the notice. Additional recall details, including specific item numbers, can be found on the CPSC website. For now, parents should either discard the toy cars and trucks or return them for a refund.

This isn’t the first child-related recall issued this month. Just a couple weeks ago Fisher-Price recalled the Rock ‘N Play sleeper for babies and toddlers after the American Academy of Pediatrics labeled the rocker ‘deadly.’
