“The federal government is attempting to use crime victim funds as a bargaining chip to force states into doing its bidding on immigration enforcement,” New York State Attroney General Letitia James said. “These grants were created to help survivors heal and recover, and we will fight to ensure they continue to serve that purpose.”
Florida State Education Commissioner Anastasios Kamoutsas also said that he’s “committed to holding publishers accountable,” emphasizing that some of the textbooks have contained information on topics such as critical race theory, intersectionality, and white privilege.

“Roblox is overrun with harmful content and child predators because it prioritizes user growth, revenue, and profits over child safety,” Louisiana officials said in a press release. “Every parent should be aware of the clear and present danger [posed] to their children by Roblox so they can prevent the unthinkable from ever happening in their own home.”
“There is no greater risk to public safety in a large, professional police force like MPD than to not know who is in command,” the lawsuit states.
“DOE’s funding cap disrupts the very programs helping our communities with energy costs and the transition to clean power,” California Attorney General Rob Bonta said in a statement.
The two lawsuits against “Alligator Alcatraz” touch on two different sides of the facility’s potential effects: one of the claims takes issue with the prison’s environmental impact, while the other raises concerns over inmates’ rights.
26 Federal Plaza is also under scrutiny by liberal lawmakers, who have repeatedly requested access to the facility but have yet to be granted permission by ICE.
“This is nothing short of grave robbery, dressed in the guise of medical authority, and it strikes at the heart of public trust in our institutions,” Faraino said.
