“For Apple’s employees, the Apple ecosystem is not a walled garden,” the lawsuit claims. “It is a prison yard. A panopticon where employees, both on and off duty, are ever subject to Apple’s all-seeing eye.”
“I don’t have any illusion about having the final word on this,” Chatham County Superior Court Judge Benjamin Karpf wrote shortly before dismissing lawsuit.
“When planes take off and land from Sea-Tac Airport, the jet fuel they burn spews pollutants into the atmosphere,” the lawsuit states. “Particulate matter can also flake off from the bodies of the airplanes themselves during flight, further contaminating the surrounding environment.”
A group of Canadian media outlets have filed a lawsuit against OpenAI, claiming that the company committed wide-ranging copyright infringement while training ChatGPT.
“[Combs’] outrageous and abhorrent conduct violated Ms. Bongolan’s fundamental dignity, bodily autonomy, and sense of safety,” the complaint says. “This event was the culmination of a series of threats, intimidation, and violence that colored many of Ms. Bongolan’s interactions with Mr. Combs from the day she met him.”
