The lawsuit suggests that Target maintained an “advanced system of electronic surveillance” that included 14 “investigation centers” and two “forensic labs,” used to “enhance video footage and analyze finger prints [sic].”
“On camera, defendant West began to choke Plaintiff with one hand,” the lawsuit alleges. “He then wrapped his other hand around her neck and continued to strangle her with both hands.”
Former wrestling announcer Melvin Phillips, Jr., the lawsuit says, never stopped abusing children—yet was never subjected to further discipline by Linda and Vince McMahon, who allegedly knew, or should have known, that Phillips was continuing to prey on young boys.
“Grace Jabbari has exhibited tremendous courage throughout this very long and difficult process,” lawyer Brittany Henderson said in a statement. “We hope that she can finally put this chapter behind her and move forward with her head held high.”
The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found that Facebook’s securities and risk disclosures were misleading because the platform “represented the risk of improper access or disclosure of Facebook user data as purely hypothetical when the risk had already transpired.”
“Michael helped countless people in the 51 years of his life, but when he needed help from the people who were entrusted to help him, whose job it was to help him, he was failed at every turn,” said attorney Terah Tollner.
“Nothing in our nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation supports that kind of ‘cooling-off period’ measure, which is a 20th century regulatory innovation that is flatly inconsistent with the Second Amendment’s original meaning,” the lawsuit alleges.
“This evidence paints a stark picture of a workplace culture rife with discriminatory practices, where concerns raised by employees were systematically ignored or dismissed,” attorney Sheree Wright said.
A New York County Supreme Court justice found that the city’s new restrictions violate the U.S. Constitution by impeding migrants’ right to travel.
“The court just granted our request to throw out the Biden-Harris administration’s illegal parole-in-place program allowing illegal aliens to remain in our country after they have crossed the border,” Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey said in a statement. “A huge win for the rule of law.”
