Veteran finance executive joins leadership team to support the company’s continued growth and strategic expansion.
DALLAS, TEXAS – Purpose Legal, a leading provider of technology-enabled legal services, announced the appointment of Dan Irving as Chief Financial Officer, reinforcing the company’s continued investment in leadership, operational excellence, and long-term growth.
Irving joins Purpose Legal during a period of significant growth following the company’s acquisition of Hire Counsel, continued expansion of its technology-enabled legal services, and ongoing investment in AI-driven solutions for corporate legal departments and law firms.
Dan brings more than 20 years of financial management and operational leadership experience across the financial services, insurance, energy, and manufacturing industries. Throughout his career, he has built and led high-performing finance organizations that serve as strategic business partners, helping companies accelerate growth, improve operational performance, and create long-term enterprise value.
As Chief Financial Officer, Irving will oversee Purpose Legal’s financial strategy, planning, accounting, and operational finance functions, partnering closely with the executive leadership team to support the company’s continued expansion and long-term strategic objectives.

Prior to joining Purpose Legal, Irving spent six years within the PEAK6 family of companies, where he played a key role in supporting strategic growth initiatives across multiple businesses. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Finance at Apex Fintech Solutions, leading cross-functional teams responsible for valuation and M&A due diligence, IPO readiness, and enterprise-wide NetSuite ERP implementations.
Previously, Irving served as Vice President of Finance for PEAK6 InsurTech, where he led a global finance organization of 45 professionals across Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Cash Operations. He also served as the finance lead for several strategic acquisitions and a successful portfolio company exit.

Irving earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He resides in the Chicago metropolitan area with his wife and three daughters.
