The Top 100 Legal Blogs on the Web

— October 11, 2016

Recently, we at LegalReader were honored by Feedspot, a site described as “a Modern RSS Reader. If you’re trying to keep up with news and content on multiple web sites, you’re faced with the never ending task of visiting those sites to check for new content. Feedspot allows you to put all of your reading in one location.” Mr. Anuj Agarwal, Feedspot’s founder, contacted us to let us know that LegalReader was selected as one of the top 100 legal blogs on the web!

Feedspot allows you to put all of your reading in one location.” Mr. Anuj Agarwal, Feedspot’s founder, contacted us to let us know that LegalReader was selected as one of the top 100 legal blogs on the web!

LegalReader is #43 on the list!
LegalReader is #43 on the list!

Not only did we make this prestigious list (thank you again, Anuj!), but LegalReader is number 43 on the list! As the blog’s Chief Correspondent/Web Content Manager, I am thrilled with this honor and so very proud of my writers. Without their contributions, we couldn’t have achieved this honor.

My personal thanks go to Jim Caton, Dawn Allen, Susanna Leighton and Andrea Tucker, the best team of writers ever!

The list includes such greats as Above the Law (#1), the SCOTUS Blog (#2) and the ABA Journal/The Lawyer’s Magazine (#3). According to the Feedspot post announcing the winners, Top 100 Legal Blogs Every Lawyer and Law Student Must Follow, the winning blogs were chosen “based on the following criteria:

  • Google reputation and Google search ranking
  • Influence and popularity on Facebook, twitter and other social media sites
  • Quality and consistency of posts.
  • Feedspot’s editorial team and expert review”

The introduction to the winners is reprinted below:

“The good of the people is the greatest law. Law is an extremely expansive and important topic, and can be non-transparent for the common man. Therefore we’ve compiled a list of Best 100 Law Blogs, so that you don’t get lawyered! This list is an attempt to provide you with the latest legal news, insights, tips, articles, videos, podcasts and opinions on Law firms, Lawyers, Judges, Law school, Law suits and everything related to law and order. These blogs span various dimensions of law such as Business law, Employment law, Construction law, Personal Injury law, Criminal law and other laws you can think of.”

We at LegalReader are proud to be a part of this list and to provide our readers with the quality content we publish on a daily basis. Thank you to our faithful readers for your support!

And, again, my thanks to Mr. Anuj Agarwal, Feedspot’s Founder, for this honor!
