Tamara Pimentel shares her story of how Bayer’s Essure nearly destroyed her life. A short time after Tamara had Essure implanted, she developed a rash on her hands. The rash soon spread to other parts of her body, including the area of her torso in the vicinity of her fallopian tubes. Nothing helped. One day, she had the epiphany that Essure causes debilitating skin conditions.
Tamara spent 3.5 years living in a hellish nightmare of itchy, painful rashes that bled spontaneously. People would stop her in the grocery store because she was leaving a trail of blood from the rash on her legs. She would look down at her desk at work only to find it covered in blood from the rash on her hands.
During this time, she also experienced severe “stabbing” abdominal pains.
After Tamara had her Essure coils removed, the rashes cleared up within a few weeks.
