Happy Essure Update!

— November 3, 2015

An E-sister whose story I shared last month has had an amazing victory over this awful device. Her YouTube video was titled “If I Don’t Survive” and now, not only has she survived, she’s thrived!

Last month, I shared a story from a brave E-sister and, in scanning the news today, discovered that her story had a happy ending.

This is our brave E-sister’s before and after Essure implantation. The negative impacts of this horrible device are shocking.

After a lot of suffering, she was finally able to find a doctor who could get the coils out.

The procedure was a success and the before removal/after removal pictures are as amazing as the before implantation/after implantation pictures are shocking.

ONE WEEK, people!

She is a success story and I hope that her journey brings hope, courage and strength to those who are still suffering. We can defeat this awful device. You can get your lives back. Never give up, never surrender!

There is also a Facebook group, Essure Problems, that offers moral support and good information for Essure victims.

Activist Erin Brockovich has created a website, Essure Procedure, in an effort to create change regarding this horrible device.

While I’m celebrating her victory today, I’m also reminded of those who weren’t as fortunate. I found this sad reminder from another awesome E-sister:

Death

Seven deaths. Appalling.

I made myself a promise (and my boss OK’d it!) that I will follow the Essure issue until it’s over. This product is a crime against women and Bayer should be held liable for the damage it’s caused.

Hopefully, the “E-Free Act” being introduced tomorrow by Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick (R-PA) will turn the tide.
