DC Lawsuit Accuses Gov.’t of Polluting Anacostia River

“The federal government has been the number one driver of pollution in the Anacostia River for over 150 years, treating the District’s iconic natural resource as a cost-free dumping ground for the toxic waste and chemicals it generated,” D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb said in a statement announcing the lawsuit. 





Indiana Takes Aim at “Deplorable” Conditions at Deerfield Estates Mobile Home Park

“Our office filed a lawsuit against the owners of a La Porte mobile home park for unsafe, unlivable conditions. We’re demanding accountability and better living standards for residents. From broken utilities to unsafe living spaces, we’re holding property owners responsible and seeking justice for tenants who don’t deserve to be treated this way,” Rokita wrote on Twitter.  


Nevada Lawsuit Says YouTube Policies Hurt Kids

“One of the core responsibilities of my office is consumer protection, and there may be no more important consumers than Nevada’s youth,” Ford said in a statement. “Today’s litigation is a necessary step to ensure that our state’s youth are not exploited by social media platforms and that they can grow into adults without the addictive and harmful impacts that these platforms can cause.”
