The American Civil Liberties Union of Nebraska notes that Chang has lived in the United States for more than two decades. His first, and only, encounter with federal immigration enforcement happened late last year in Des Moines, Iowa. Chang was taken into custody, where he has remained ever since.
The lawsuit argues that, over the course of the past several weeks, Grok users have taken advantage of prompts that instruct the chatbot to “undress” the subjects of real-life photographs. In some cases, these ordinary and non-explicit photographs have been reworked to feature women and children in sexually explicit scenes.
Attorneys cited several alleged instances in which Google devices had recorded private conversations about sensitive topics, including financial issues, personal decisions, and employment opportunities.
“Upon such proof, it shall be presumed that the alteration in immigration status is in retribution for the exercise of their First Amendment rights during the course of the present case,” Young wrote.
Nessel’s office allegedly identified several ways in which oil industry stakeholders worked together to inhibit competition. In a press release, Nessel said that the defendants used tactics that included using patent manipulation to hinder market competitors; suppressing information concerning the true costs of fossil fuel usage; infiltrating non-profit watchdogs and public regulators; and using trade associations to coordinate market-wide efforts to “divert capital expenditures away from renewable energy.”

This decision, attorneys say, was motivated by an unconstitutional animus against non-white immigrants.
Ezra also noted that two of the counties named as defendants in the lawsuit—Williamson and Bell—have taken steps to eliminate the use of pollbooks to number ballot paper. The other defendant county, Llano County, does not use pollbooks for the purpose of numbering.
“In essence,” Trump claims, “JPMC debanked plaintiffs’ accounts because it believed that the political tide at the moment favored doing so.”
“I think I deserve to know what’s being collected about me and shared with employers,” plaintiff Eric Kistler said in an interview with the New York Times. “And they’re not giving me any feedback, so I can’t address the issue.”
During an earlier hearing, Judge Cobb told the Department of Homeland Security that she would need to see more evidence proving that the agency has, in fact, completely changed its funding stream. Without this evidence, Cobb said, it would appear that the agency has blatantly disregarded and violated her previous order regarding congressional visitation rights.
