Federal Judge: Trump Admin. Can’t Stop Harvard from Admitting International Students
Harvard has said that, in light of the court’s ruling, it will continue enrolling international students unless and until an alternate decision is issued.

“Plaintiffs have no adequately alleged that Lively’s threats were wrongful extortion rather than legally permissible hard bargaining or renegotiation of working conditions,” wrote U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman wrote.
“While Congress has installed a memorial to other officers who died in a different tragedy, it has not installed the plaque to honor those who defended the Capitol on January 6,” the lawsuit claims. “Meanwhile, though Congress has not installed the memorial to the officers who defended it, members have managed to honor the man who inspired the violence.”

The appeals court issued its decision several hours after U.S. District Court Judge Charles Breyer tore into the Trump administration’s use of the National Guard in quelling immigration-related protests.
“This isn’t just data—it’s your DNA,” Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield said in a statement. “People did not submit their personal data to 23andMe thinking their genetic blueprint would later be sold off to the highest bidder.”
“Midjourney is the quintessential copyright free-rider and a bottomless pit of plagiarism,” Disney and Universal said in the lawsuit.
“The governor has broken the trust of Colorado community members and their families, educators, coworkers, and friends,” Colorado state Sen. Julie Gonzales said in a statement.
In the wake of President Donald Trump’s call to arrest California Gov. Gavin Newsom, the state has filed a lawsuit challenging the administration’s allegedly unlawful takeover of a CalGuard unit. The lawsuit, filed Monday, names defendants including Trump, former FOX News co-host and U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and the federal Department of Defense.
The lawsuit also raised claims that some firearm manufacturers intentionally market their products to drug cartels, advertising certain guns as “military-grade” and giving others names like the Super “El Jefe.”
